What is the mode of payment?
One time setup fees through PayPal + Monthly Advance Payment (recurring billing) through PayPal subscription.
|
Why do I require to pay the setup charge?
The website/web pages need to be set up for CMS which require efforts at our end however the set up charges are minimal (much less than US rate for an hour work) against the expected turn around effort between 4 to 8 hours (for Packages 1 and Packages 2) being spent at our end. For Packages 3, the setup charge also includes partial cost of the design effort.
|
Can I buy the website?
No you cannot. However, if you wish you can save the website at your end as HTML and move on to to some other hosting/service provider. The website pages and design will be yours and website will not use our CMS thereafter.
Our CMS Services are on subscription basis. However if you wish you can move the website to any other hosting after 12 months. the subscription charge will be reduced by US$ 5.00 in such cases
|
Can we have some Discount on subscription?
Currently no plan is there, however, if you opt for yearly subscription instead of monthly, the discount of upto 10% (on monthly charges) may be provided. Please contact us in this regard.
|
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can. Upon cancellation no recurring billing will occur a week afterwards and your website will continue till the last subcription expire. Try to inform as for cancellation as early as possible as it may take some time to complete the cancellation process.
|
Will I get any refund on cancellation?
Depends.
If it is on monthly subscription then no, the website will have our services till the subscription expire.
If it is on yearly subscription (without any discount) then yes you can get refund for balance period.
No refund(s) in any other case.
|
Talking of yearly subscription without discount. What benefit will I get from such plan?
The discount could be between US$ 36 to US$ 60. What kind of benefit you can think for it? do tell us. We'll definitely come up with something for the benefits. However, you will be Priority Client for us.
|
Is there any lock down period for your services/hosting?
3 month Lock down period for websites under Packages 1 and Packages 2. Means you can take the websites off to other hostings that have the supporting environment at the rate reduced by US$ 5.00.
We require the website on our hosting to ensure that it do not encounter any problem and we will remove with lockdown period with time.
For Websites under Package 3, there is 3 month locked down hosting on our server mainly because we splitted the cost of design, etc as installments and included it to monthly cost and we feel it is fair to recover the cost we put in.
|
Does it mean we cannot cancel the subscription for Packages 3 before 12 months?
Ofcourse you can. But you will have no right to the website design and materials used to design and develop it. You cannot replicate the website even by saving the website as HTML. The website design and design materials used will be our property (exluding the materials provided by you)
|
Once cancelled, our website will have nothing to do with you. Correct?
Depends, if you cancel hosting with us but continue to use our CMS services, the subscription will still be there and so will we. If our CMS services are cancelled, your domain will be taken off our hosting and you can host the our website anywhere and we'll have nothing to do with it.
However, we can continue to display your last website version as showcase/portfolio.

We do not see any previous works of yours?
This is new setup. Previosly, we were working with other reputed company so could not share the work being tendered there. We understand that initial breaks are tough to find and we are in the process and soon we'll be able to provide our work for demonstration and backing.
We would like to mention that this very website is using the same CMS back bone that we'll be offering to you. -- Big Grin --

So you are providing SEO friendly website?
Yes, if we are creating website from the scratch, or, from template. May not be complete Yes if we are converting existing static website to CMS website. If we were asked to take care of attribute that differs between the new website and one from static website we can do so.
Your question also bring into the notice an issue which will come up (provided you as a customer know about it and concerned about it.. as usually customers have no idea about it and service provider like us makes excuses to deal with it).
The issue is existing website will have pages previous visitor group or search engine registered with them. once the static website will converted to CMS all that data stored (about your website) is lost.. humans can still come to your home page and reach new CMS page. but search engines will lose the track and will begin indexing your website from scratch (as a new website).
Depending upon the condition and requirement this should be handled by some mean.
We can say 95% - 98% website re-design company will not be taking this into account in-fact we never come across any website who are doing redeign/CMS and is specifying if they are keeping the existing SEO benefits with them while planning for CMS website?
We can work up on it and will be adding it to our existing static website into CMS version Package with nominal cost. It will be up in few days after inhouse discussion.

You are to provide website design, but for me your website design itself is not impressive.
Well... didn't you notice google's design but we are not going with that type of design as well. As we mentioned in website, we believe to work on website as per the requirement. Currently our requirement is not to have a impressive design but impressive performance. Our target/requirement is to get better listings on search engine results first. get noticed and then improve on other sections as well.
We kept our layout simple and clean .... is it that bad ? :(

What are List Items? How different they are from usual CMS?
In CMS usually sections are fixed which means you can keep updating it but not adding it. List Items are information you can keep adding up and they follow same formatting... ah i know it is not clearing the thing up.
FAQs, Testimonials, Feedback, Questions and Answers, some Portfolios, News Section, Events, Bios kind of things where each piece if complete information is displayed in some listed manner. This FAQ Section that you are going through itself is one. If you wish you can work with simple CMS page to show all the information after doing content formatting at your end. but either you save time and effort or......
Further list Items can be displayed using Paging like 5 items/record at a time. not possible with usual CMS.
Still Further we can provide option to display like top 3 records at homepage and on their page/section complete display. With usual CMS there are only work around and not a solution.

What is the environment for the CMS you are using?
ASP.NET Framework 2.0 and SQL Server 2005.
|
Can we have outright purchase CMS website so that I need not care about monthly subscriptions?
|
Do you provide custom web solutions apart from these simple CMS Solutions as well?
Yes we do but we are targeting low end solutions at this time. This low end solution are to provide services to not one but several, this way the cost of the development of such a system will be shared buy several. The cost of one CUSTOM solution could be too much for several. Another point, the Website Management part is critical to any website web-application. So this essentially is important for the custom solutions as well and will be a backbone to them.
Writing again that we'll be happy to take up the custom solution as well provided it keep both .. you and us .. Happy

Do you provide SEO / PPC Services?

Don't you think SQL Server could be a burden for small website? Why not XML/My SQL?
We are planning to let the subscriber host their website wherever they want. For this we planned to work out something where they all can manage their websites from single point (Our Server) and XML is not fitting into it.
MySQL.. hmm ... we are not much into it.
and BURDEN .. did the Pricing speak for it?
